History: FXB Ryans of Parkgate
Ryan’s of Parkgate St. is the latest addition to FXB Restaurants. An establishment of outstanding heritage, character and distinction, Ryan’s is one of Dublin’s authentic Victorian pubs. Dating back to 1896, it has seen many famous people pass through its doors over the years. President Clinton, Julia Roberts and Niall Quinn have all paid a visit to Ryan’s and stayed for a drink or two! Our extensive whiskey and scotch selection brings patrons from all over to sample a tipple while our pub lunches have been satisfying hungry Dubliners since 1905.
Today Ryan’s has been joined by another proud Dublin Tradition – FXB Steak and Seafood Restaurants. With a history as long as Ryan’s itself, FXB’s is synonymous with award-winning free range meats, all sourced from the family farm in Co. Offaly. Patrons can enjoy a nice bite to eat in Ryan’s pub downstairs, relax over a meal in our FXB Steak and Seafood Restaurant upstairs or just wander in for what is reputably the best pint in Dublin. Located near the capital’s Phoenix Park and Collin’s National Museum, adjacent to Heuston Station and on the bus routes into Dublin City centre, Ryan’s is open from 12.30pm each day with our FXB Restaurant open from 5.30pm.
